There have been 101 blogs written by 101 different business owners about their experiences over the past year of this on and off lockdown and general restrictions to businesses. There’s been anger, frustration, fear and disbelief expressed. New Facebook groups have sprung up to support various sectors of the community and to give people a voice to express their frustrations.

I won’t lie...I think we’ve been through all the emotions possible, from total disbelief initially, through to fear, anger and resignation as the months continued.

Our members have been through their own journeys too. Fear of losing their routine; fear of losing their fitness, their strength, their friends and even their sanity!

However, in most cases the reality has been quite a different story; many of our members have used this time to explore different ways to exercise, they’ve walked more, cycled more, got involved in challenges from steps per day to online competitions. They’ve taken part in our daily zoom classes, they’ve got out on their bikes, they’ve met up with a friend to walk their dogs or go for a run...they’ve messaged each other, they’ve checked in with their training friends and they’ve got each other through.

As a business we’ve not stopped! We’ve prepared new online programs, we’ve developed a youth program to launch when we re-open, we’ve now got our own nutrition program and we’ve been filming and refining our online presence pretty much non stop! We’re ready to launch our brand new website imminently, we’ve planned our next 2 competitions which we hope will be allowed in the Summer/Autumn. We’ve designed new t- shirts and as my Co-Owner Nick Smith has said, we intend to come out of lockdown STRONG and FAST off the blocks...

So what have we learnt through this time?

Well...you can either sit back and be passive, crippled by fear and doubt when things feel out of your control or you can STEP UP, TAKE CONTROL of the things you have control over and  MAKE CHANGES which will result in ultimate success.

Our core values are:

164818413_717163415641370_284694646736131324_n.jpg

Integrity

Humility

Ambition

Relentlessness

I think we’ve ticked the boxes...have you?
